McCarthy & Stone required a specialist contractor to deliver high-quality floor installation packages across new retirement developments in Macclesfield, Burscough and Garstang. Each project, ranging from £150k to £400k, involved 60 – 120 apartments as well as extensive communal areas, all requiring carefully selected flooring solutions.

The Brief

These schemes demanded more than just a new floor. The flooring needed  to be durable, water resistant and suitable for modern retirement living. With multiple rooms, shared spaces and high footfall areas, the specification had  to balance long-term durability, visual appeal and cost efficiency while maintaining the overall design vision set out by McCarthy & Stone.

Supplying and Installing  Luxury Vinyl Flooring at Scale

Working directly with McCarthy & Stone, we delivered a complete installation package including subfloor preparation, underlay and the supply and installation of luxury vinyl flooring, vinyl sheet, carpets and tiles. We carefully selected a range of luxury vinyl and vinyl products designed  to create a perfect floor finish in every room, from private apartments to communal lounges and corridors. 

Our team prepared each space thoroughly, making sure the correct base  for long-lasting performance and longevity. The chosen vinyl flooring and luxury vinyl options were designed to suit retirement living – pet friendly, easy to clean and capable of handling heavy daily use. Every installation was carefully managed so the final quality matched the high standards expected across each McCarthy & Stone development. 

By managing supply, preparation and install works across all three locations, we were able to deliver consistent quality flooring solutions across every house and communal space.
