Your Existing Floor
Would you like us to remove your existing floor for you?
Avoid the hassle and mess of clearing your existing floor - let us do it for you.
Please ensure that your existing floor is fully removed when we arrive, as laying on to existing floor finished will invalidate any warranty.
We cannot lay new floor coverings on top of existing finishes, as this will affect the life cycle of the product, along with all warranties. We therefore assume that there is no finish to remove, or that you are removing the existing floor finishes yourself.

Would you like us to prepare your floor for installation?
Please ensure your floor is fully prepared for installation when we arrive.
In the case of timber floorboards, a prepared floor is fixed with exterior grade 6mm plywood, fixed every 150mm with annular ring
shank nails. In the
case of solid floor, a prepared floor is smooth, free of any contaminants, such as old adhesive and ready to receive new flooring.
Noting you have selected ‘No’ to floor preparation, it is very rare that preparation is not required under new floor finishes, even if we are laying on
to new concrete / timber floors. If preparation is not carried out in tandem with manufacturers recommendations, this will affect the warranty and
lifecycle of the product. If you are unsure it may be worth speaking to one of our representatives who can advise you further to ensure that your new
floor are laid in accordance with manufacturers recommendations.
